1 Feb to 12 Feb Suez Training and re-organising
13 Feb Suez At daybreak moved out to EL Kubri (about 3 miles) and crossed Canal at 9am. Camped close beside no 3 Post, Suez Canal
14 Feb to 19 Feb Suez Canal Battalion garrisoning El Kubri and vicinity. Training for all battalion not on garrison duty.
20 Feb Suez Canal Battalion moved to front line trenches at Darb-el-Haj - relieving 1 Lancashire Fusiliers). Z Company holding detached Post at Half Way House (they were relieved by a company of 2/Royal Fusiliers on 28 Feb)
21 Feb to 29 Feb Darb-el-Haj Battalion holding front line - also working very hard completing this line. A Turkish spy was captured by Z Company on 29 Feb
26 Feb Brigade receives secret orders to prepare to move to France.
